Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred. If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and other aspects as needed.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Carry out common area maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and cleaning windows.
• Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, and shutter issues and arrange repairs as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance program for the assigned area and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Enter newly purchased tools/equipment into inventory and keep work area clean and organized.
• Observe all safety rules and work on-call hours when required.
