Job summary

WRH Realty Services, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Brandon, FL to support the Maintenance Manager and provide 24-hour emergency services for residents. You will handle work orders, routine maintenance, and on-call duties to keep properties in top condition.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of maintenance experience, EPA Type II certification, and strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. A valid driver’s license and smartphone are required.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and lifting with assistance as needed.
• Must score 70% or greater on Maintenance Technician Qualification Test.
• Requires 2 years’ experience in property maintenance or equivalent.
• EPA Type II certification or higher is required.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and pool systems.
• 40 hours per week; on-call emergencies; weekend work may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills and smartphone usage for training and email.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turns, vacant units and move outs.
• Maintain exterior appearance and curb appeal.
• Complete work orders and perform preventative maintenance.
• Handle trash pick-up daily and record maintenance costs.
• Check irrigation systems regularly and maintain pool/seasonal areas.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, drywall, insulation, roofing, and appliance work.
• Basic electrical tasks and appliance repair.
• Participate in on-call rotation; perform other duties as assigned.
