Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to assist in maintaining and repairing structures across animal production facilities in Northwest Iowa. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and use of various hand and power tools to inspect electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include following work orders, welding, and being on-call for emergencies. A two-year technical degree or related experience is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and DOT

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent, or 1–3 months experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and work orders; basic math skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT medical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect systems and components.
• Use tools ranging from hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and testing devices.
• On-call for emergency situations as needed.
