AdamsPlace, part of National HealthCare Corporation, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

You will assist with preventive maintenance, respond to repair requests, inspect HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing and plumbing systems, and help coordinate work with other departments to minimize disruption to patient care.

Qualificações

• Experience in facility maintenance tasks and safety compliance.
• Willing to work unscheduled overtime and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Skilled in basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Flexibility with hours and on-call availability.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with routine maintenance across all zones while ensuring safety and quality.
• Check HVAC units on roof and in patient rooms.
• Inspect laundry equipment and electrical panels.
• Make daily repairs as needed.
• Monitor water and boiler temperatures, and safety equipment.
• Inspect storage and utility rooms for upkeep and safety.
• Coordinate maintenance work with other departments to avoid interrupting patient care.
• Be on call for emergencies.
• Run errands and move heavy equipment as directed.
• Care for property, equipment and grounds as directed.
