Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Services Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building exteriors, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards at a Greystar-managed property in Miami, FL. The role requires diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and maintaining documentation.

The position includes make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, scheduling trades, and supporting grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Tracks materials and returns unused items to the storage location, and notifies the maintenance supervisor about re-order needs.
• Document work performed to keep service requests traceable and complete.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting, and debris removal; support cost-saving by repairing parts when possible.
