The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, strong hand-tool skills, and reliable communication. On-call duties, OSHA safety compliance, and a professional appearance are essential; AMC offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman work.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of property and vacant unit preparation.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and property uniform.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops after hours.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs and provide 24-hour response to service requests.
