Cornerstone Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve and maintain our residential properties in Petaluma, CA. You will respond to resident requests and perform repairs across appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fixtures to ensure safety and comfort.

Working Tuesday–Saturday, 8 am–5 pm, with on-call shifts and potential overtime, you will help keep units ready for move-ins. DOE monthly commissions may apply alongside hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of general residential maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems.
• Certifications or licenses as required by local/state regulations.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work on-call, weekends and after hours.
• Pass background and drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Respond to resident/management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, and air conditioning/heating/electrical systems as needed.
• Repair/replace apartment materials and perform maintenance requests.
• Identify and perform routine preventative maintenance assignments.
• Inspect and repair vacant units and prepare for move-ins.
• Work on-call as scheduled 24/7, weekend shifts, and overtime as necessary and pre-approved by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.
• Complete grounds work, such as grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping.
• Perform other duties as requested to support property operations.
