Job summary

Hayes Gibson Property Services in Bloomington is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to upkeep our properties and ensure a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, troubleshoot issues, and complete tasks to keep systems running smoothly.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with on-call responsibilities for emergencies.

Qualifications

• General maintenance work including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
• Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe, compliant work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property buildings and equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances).
• Respond to work orders, diagnose issues, complete repairs to keep systems running smoothly.
• Conduct regular property inspections and report potential problems.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
