Job summary

APEX LIVING MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly. You will perform routine maintenance on equipment, inspect the building for damage, and complete repairs to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and is available on nights and weekends. A strong work ethic, clear communication, time management and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to ensure they’re operating efficiently and repair as needed.
• Inspect the building for structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep equipment operating efficiently and prevent safety risks.
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain the lawn.
