Job summary

Sleep Inn & Suites Oregon is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for preventive maintenance of guest rooms, equipment, and supplies, including HVAC/PTAC, vacuums, ice machines, TVs, washers and dryers, water heaters, sprinklers, and case goods.

You will maintain the pool and whirlpool to health standards, perform repairs, assist other departments, stay on call for emergencies, operate basic tools, read instructions, run hotel errands, and maintain strict key control and maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC/PTAC, pool equipment, and basic repairs is a plus.
• Ability to read instructions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of guest rooms, equipment, and supplies (HVAC/PTAC, vacuums, ice machines, TVs, washers/dryers, water heaters, sprinklers, cabinets).
• Maintain the swimming pool and whirlpool to health department and franchise standards.
• Perform repairs unless a general contractor is needed and approved by management.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Be on call for emergencies at all times.
• Operate basic maintenance tools and read instructions.
• Run hotel errands and adhere to key control policies.
• Keep records of preventative maintenance.
• Perform outdoor lawn and snow services as needed.
