Job summary

A-1 Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform major repairs and preventative maintenance to uphold hotel quality standards in Rosenberg, TX.

You will tackle pool area upkeep, grounds cleaning, lighting checks, stockroom management, and safety hazard reporting, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Experience in hospitality maintenance and the ability to work independently are preferred; relevant certifications or a crafts apprenticeship are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience preferred.
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the pool area and exercise room.
• Keep grounds clear of visible trash and clean the parking lot, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrance thoroughly, including weed removal.
• Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction.
• Keep the storage area clean every day and lock all storage areas before clocking out.
• Ensure that there are enough housekeeping supplies on each floor and there are enough linens & supplies in stock.
• Verify that all exterior lights are working properly.
• Report and fix any safety hazards throughout the hotel.
• Ensure that the stockroom has sufficient inventory to last at least two weeks.
• Other duties as assigned.
