Mercy Housing in Lincoln, Nebraska is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep the property well-maintained and hazard-free. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers on-site.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders promptly and cleans up after completion.

• Cleans apartments during turnover as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mercy Northglen Apartments, located in Lincoln, Nebraska on a 4.8 acre site, was developed in 1970. The 60-unit multifamily property has 10 one-bedroom apartments and 50 two-bedroom apartments and consists of five three-level buildings.

We are hiring immediately. Benefits start on Day 1 of employment!

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment. This is an on-site position. Pay: $21.00 - 24.00/hourly dependent on experience.

Duties

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
