Job summary

Mercy Housing in Denver seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers on-site. You will ensure a clean, hazard-free environment and deliver strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner; clean up after completion.
• Perform repairs on the property including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
• Clean apartments during turnover; follow turnover procedures as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

This is an on-site position.

Pay

$24-25/hour, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

Duties

• Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
