Manchester University, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support two campuses—North Manchester and Fort Wayne—spending roughly three days a week in North Manchester and two days in Fort Wayne.

The role focuses on maintaining buildings and systems to ensure a safe, functional campus. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance, with opportunities to lead special projects and improve spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, construction, HVAC, facilities, mechanical systems, or related hands-on field.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Willingness to travel between North Manchester and Fort Wayne campuses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair university buildings, equipment, and systems
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance work
• Complete preventive maintenance and identify issues before costly repairs
• Assist with construction, remodeling, and improvement projects
• Support campus events and facility operations

This is a unique opportunity to work across both our North Manchester and Fort Wayne campuses, spending approximately three days each week in North Manchester and two days in Fort Wayne. You'll help maintain the environments where students learn, faculty teach, and our university community thrives. Responsibilities include building maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, facility improvements, and special projects across both campuses.
