Job summary

International Motors, LLC is hiring Maintenance Technicians for our San Antonio plant. Initial day shift (Mon–Thu, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM) with transition to a night shift in 2027. External candidates may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $7,500.

The role involves maintenance and repair of equipment, reading drawings and schematics, calibration, safety system troubleshooting, gun rebuilding, and CMMS documentation. Requires 1–7+ years in maintenance and relevant education.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of equipment
• Analyze and troubleshoot malfunctions of equipment
• Read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics
• Calibrate equipment (Fluid, Air and Fan)
• Troubleshoot safety and intrusion alarms in paint booths
• Rebuild guns (touch-up and paint guns) and BELLS
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain 5S standards
• Maintain conveyor and reader knowledge
• Document work performed in CMMS
• Support continuous improvement and participate in problem solving
• Collaborate with engineering on new solutions
• Ensure safety and housekeeping throughout the shift
• Assist with scheduled maintenance activities
• Maintain electro-mechanical equipment and supporting systems
• Disassemble/repair components and diagnose failures
• Respond to equipment issues and escalate as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned
