Job summary

Grande Cheese Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Brownsville facility on the night shift. Schedule is 5:00pm–5:00am with a 2-2-3 pattern and 2-2-3 rotating cycle.

This role offers a starting rate of $35.21/hour plus night shift and weekend premiums, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a $3,000 retention bonus upon six months of service. The candidate will perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on processing equipment, assist in installation projects, and ensure

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related mechanical or electrical experience and/or training.
• Completion of a state recognized Apprenticeship program including four years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or better in Industrial Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and update processing equipment and PMs to keep it running efficiently.
• Install, dismantle and upgrade intake and processing equipment as needed to support production.

Maintenance Technician - Brownsville (Night Shift)

Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating

Hours: 5:00pm - 5:00am

Pay Range

• Starting hourly rate: $35.21 and up, based on experience, skills, and interview evaluation.
• $3.00 an hour night shift premium from (6:00PM-6:00AM)
• $2.25 an hour weekend shift premium (Saturdays and Sundays)
• $3,000 sign-on bonus paid within the first 30 days of employment
• $3,000 retention bonus paid upon successful completion of 6 month of service.

Job Summary

Do you want to continue honing your maintenance skill set? As a Maintenance Technician, you will work as a team or with the other Maintenance Associates and Team Managers and assist in all functions of the maintenance areas as needed, including but not limited to assemble, install, dismantle, maintain, and repair intake and processing equipment, distribution, supporting equipment, and all other processing equipment to update or replace existing equipment, update technology, prepare for repair or replacement, PM’s, and to keep it running efficiently.
