Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Batavia Township, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform proactive and reactive maintenance on industrial systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production equipment while coordinating with production, engineering and other maintenance staff.

The role starts with a day shift and shifts to nights on a 2-2-3 schedule after training, with pay progression and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k) match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to coordinate with production, engineering and maintenance staff for planned work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to maintain equipment and solve technical problems.
• Model safety and share expertise to train others and promote a safety-first culture.
• Execute Planned Maintenance activities to prevent failures and ensure safe operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including motors, conveyors, gears and valves.
• Perform root cause analysis to reduce unplanned downtime.
