Job summary

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Batavia, just east of Cincinnati, to maintain and repair production equipment on a rotating schedule. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, work with teams, and follow a 2-2-3 nights shift after training, with a generous benefits package.

Starting pay is $37.50/hr with progression up to $41.78/hr, plus a $7,500 retention bonus, quarterly bonus, and comprehensive health, 401k, and PTO offerings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to maintain equipment and solve technical problems.
• Model safety and train others to ensure a safety-first environment.
• Execute planned maintenance to prevent failures and ensure safe operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including motors, conveyors, gears and hydraulics.
• Work to reduce unplanned stoppages through root-cause analysis.
• Use CMMS and diagnostic tools to work safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic rigging, mechanical practices and welding.
