Job summary

Amgen Rhode Island manufacturing site is seeking a Maintenance Tech - Nights to support maintenance and repair of production equipment. You will work with a maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and support manufacturing operations.

The role includes a 12‑hour shift (7PM-7AM) on a rotating schedule, with added 15% shift differential and premium pay for Sundays. Onboarding is initially administrative (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of maintenance/utilities experience OR an associate degree.
• Experience with sanitary processing equipment and regulated environments is preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs and equipment documentation and document work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production equipment.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance following procedures and safety standards.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with site procedures.
• Diagnose issues and escalate complex problems when needed.
• Complete CMMS work orders accurately and communicate status to team.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
