Job summary

Lyons Magnus, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance overall operating functions of manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, machine upgrades, troubleshooting, and supporting inventory and scheduling.

On-site role based in Walton, KY with a 6:00pm–6:00am schedule and 4 rotating 12-hour shifts. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 5 years in maintenance or related training, and may have a skilled trade apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of maintenance experience or related technical training.
• Skilled trade apprenticeship preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance to improve machine uptime.
• Upgrade machines to enable efficiency for complex orders.
• Troubleshoot downtime and quality issues.
• Assist in inventory control and maintenance scheduling.
• Document activities in the company tracking system.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for improving the overall operating functions of the manufacturing machines to achieve the desired goals. This will include preventative maintenance programs, machine upgrades to enable difficult production orders to be more efficient, diagnostic/troubleshooting ability to resolve downtime and quality issues and overall machine efficiency improvements.

Pay Range: $30.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus applicable shift differential.

Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am

Schedule: 4 - 12 hour shifts, rotate monthly

Location: Walton, KY

Work Environment Available: On site

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Team supports the production department in maintaining a Working and Safe, environment.
• Assists in GMP Master Sanitation Program within specified work area.
• Continuing effort in Preventative and Predictive Maintenance.
• Assist the Maintenance clerk in Inventory control.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing that daily routines and task are completed in a timely fashion.
• Enter detailed comments into the company computer tracking system (Red Zone, CMMS, etc.)
• Other duties at the discretion of management.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to decipher equipment use and interpret machine drawings

• Flexible work schedule and the ability to work other shifts as needed and to work overtime and weekends.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship is preferred but not required (mechanical, electrical, machinist, pipe fitter, etc.)
• Five years of working experience in a maintenance department or other technical related training.
