Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment on the production floor. You will monitor the status of all machines, collaborate with the shift supervisor to keep processes safe, efficient and compliant, and log activities in the maintenance log before leaving.

Candidates with experience in pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, lock out/tag out knowledge, and a mechanical aptitude are favored.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic systems
  • Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • High School or Equivalent Education
  • Plastic molding experience preferred but not required

Responsible for maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.

Respond to any emergency or potential emergency.

Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.

Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes or systems and very the implementation of solutions.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred

Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic systems

Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out requirements

Mechanical aptitude

High School or Equivalent Education

Plastic molding experience preferred but not required

Salary Expectations: $34-$39/hr
