Job summary

Highland Management Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support Southwood Apartments, Lynn Court Apartments, and Oakleaf townhomes. The role offers a starting hourly rate of $28.00 and full-time hours, with on-site living not required but available at a discount.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, completing resident work orders, and assisting with safety inspections. Benefits include health insurance, HSA, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge for basic repairs and installations.
• Plumbing knowledge for fixture repairs and leak control.
• Carpentry knowledge for carpentry tasks and minor building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain properties to ensure resident satisfaction through preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Process maintenance requests from residents as they come in on work orders.
• Participate in the on‑call team for Highland Management Group, Inc.
• Inspect fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, boilers daily and ensure safety compliance.
• Know water and gas shut offs, fixture shut-offs, and sewer clean-outs.
