Job summary

US Rod in Nappanee, Indiana is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to train on first shift and transition to swing and later second shift coverage. The role requires following safety methods, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and may bring experience with Rockwell or Fanuc software, as well as PLC/Allan Bradley robotics exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3–6 months related experience or training.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Rockwell or Fanuc software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing methods to perform tasks safely.
• Work with a partner in most cases.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities as scheduled.
• Coordinate with service suppliers and materials for repairs or PM.
• Plan information and production for scheduled PM.
• Support manufacturing to minimize downtime.
