Job summary

TREK Development Group, a Pittsburgh-based real estate company, seeks a Maintenance Technician for The Rosemont, a 106-unit community. The technician will handle work orders, turnovers, and property upkeep to uphold occupancy and curb appeal.

Reporting to the Community Manager, responsibilities include vacant-apartment repairs, on-call emergencies, and preventative maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A strong trades background and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; trade school or certs preferred.
• Minimum of two years of multi-site, multi-family property management experience.
• Two years of advanced hands-on trades experience (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform repairs to vacant apartments for new residents.
• Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, repair, or replacement of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal and grounds upkeep of the property.
• Complete work orders promptly and per company policies.
• Provide preventative maintenance for buildings' systems and equipment.
• Be aware of utility cut-offs and sewer cleanouts.
• Weekend work, on-call rotation, and emergency duties.
