Planned Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for full-time, on-site work in Chatham, NJ 07928. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with hands-on repairs and coordination with outside contractors as needed.

A minimum of 3 years’ related experience and strong carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills are required. Bilingual ability is preferred, and reliability and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong plumbing, electric and carpentry experience.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Inspect boilers and water heaters for leaks and report findings.
• Schedule extermination procedures as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of social areas and amenities.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair equipment as required.
• Repair building components including doors, fixtures, and flooring.
• Maintain logs of work performed and notify outside contractors when needed.
• Assist management with projects and other duties as requested.
