Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Gilman, IL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of our facility, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

The position covers plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and renovations with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. You will repair, install fixtures, and document issues to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards preferred.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be 21+ years old (insurance requirement).
• Maintenance experience in residential, hospital, or medical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, remodeling, renovations, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with building, safety, and health codes.
• Install and maintain appliances, furniture, and fixtures.
• Report and document maintenance issues.
• Monitor and respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and integrity of the entire facility.
