Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. in Winston-Salem is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our retail facilities and career centers across the region.

You will perform general trades, coordinate with vendors, document work orders, and ensure safety standards. If you bring 3–4 years of maintenance experience and trade skills, you’ll help keep our community-focused operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of facilities maintenance experience required.
• Trade skills or general contracting (plumbing, painting, HVAC, carpentry, electrical lighting) required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and travel within designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventative maintenance at retail facilities or career centers.
• Handle plumbing, painting, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for maintenance tasks.
• Meet with service vendors on site and assist with questions.
• Use computers to close out work orders and order supplies.
• Record and organize maintenance service records.
• Inform maintenance manager of ongoing requests and projects.
• Other duties, as assigned.
