Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance at retail facilities and career centers across the territory. You will handle plumbing, painting, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical lighting, coordinating with service vendors and recording work orders.

You must have a high school diploma, 3-4 years of facilities maintenance experience, valid driver's license, and be able to travel.

Competenze

3-4 years' facilities maintenance experience.
Trade skills or general contracting (e.g. plumbing, painting, HVAC, carpentry, electrical lighting).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently and climb ladders/roofs.

Mansioni

Performs general and preventive maintenance at retail facilities or career centers.
Handles plumbing, painting, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical lighting tasks.
Coordinates with service vendors for maintenance tasks.
Meets vendors on site and assists with questions.
Uses computers to close out work orders and order supplies.
Records and organizes maintenance documents.
Informs maintenance manager of ongoing requests and projects.
Other duties as assigned.
