Job summary

Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. is seeking a Building Technician/Handyman to maintain and repair commercial and residential properties in the greater Seattle area. The role requires carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and general maintenance skills, with emphasis on safety and proper use of hand and power tools.

The position is full-time with weekend availability and benefits after a waiting period. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, along with a valid US driver’s license and clean

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, fixture/hardware replacement, and basic plumbing.
• Ability to prep work areas, protect occupied spaces, cut materials, and assemble components.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate hand/power tools safely.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep of commercial and residential buildings in the Seattle area.
• Prepare work areas, protect spaces, and manage material cutting and assembly.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
