Job summary

Apartment Management Professionals (AMP) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair apartment units and facilities, including make-ready prep and timely tenant-request responses. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and other systems with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with regulations.

Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience.
• HVAC, EPA, and CPO certifications preferred.
• Strong multitasking and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of apartments for move-in and perform repairs.
• Organize and perform general maintenance, preventative upkeep, and repairs per safety standards.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect before move-in.
• Repair HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and other systems.
• Perform routine safety inspections of grounds and buildings and address maintenance improvements.
• Respond promptly to tenant requests with excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing guidelines.
