Maintenance Technician - Monroe 2nd Shift

Hours: Monday through Friday, 1pm-9:30pm, with a weekend rotation and OT as required.
Wage is experience-based: Starting at $28.08/hr (+) applicable shift differentials.

Job Summary

This position involves working closely with management, maintenance, and production staff to ensure production equipment and plant facilities are maintained safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include completing all assigned preventative maintenance (PM) duties, including scheduled tasks as per the Master Sanitation Program. Availability for emergency call-ins, weekend hours, and occasional holidays is required. The role requires the ability to work independently with little supervision and to be self-motivated.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all scheduled PMs, including Master Sanitation Program tasks.
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on machinery.
• Maintain accurate and organized records related to PMs and sanitation tasks.
• Coordinate with management and factory personnel to schedule, source parts, and repair equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Food manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Moderately strenuous work involving standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced, clean environment that may be cool, wet, noisy, and involve chemicals.
