Job summary

Daniel Kids in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Maintenance Assistant to support the Director of Facilities in caring for facilities, grounds, systems and vehicles. Monday–Friday 7am–4pm, with benefits and competitive health/dental plans and PTO.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience in minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall repairs and painting, plus a valid driver license and ability to pass a Level 2 background screening. On-call rotation and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Driver license in good standing.
• Able to pass a Level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Facilities with maintenance of facilities, grounds and vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with emergency and life-safety systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and report issues to the Director of Facilities.
• Maintain sanitation standards per health department and regulatory agencies.
• Track maintenance costs and keep cost records.
