Qualifications

• Knowledge of HUD regulations and housing quality standards.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Commitment to safety and accident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance across buildings and equipment.
• Repair/replace windows, doors, roofs, gutters, cabinets, walls, ceilings, toilets, faucets, and light fixtures.
• Install, maintain, repair, or replace mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
• Assist in installing and repairing sanitary fixtures and plumbing systems.
• Carpentry, painting, and floor tile work as needed.
• Weld and braze electric or acetylene components as required.
• Assist HVAC equipment and water heater maintenance.
• Repair electrical fixtures, switches, and wiring as part of maintenance duties.
• Operate a vehicle in performance of duties.
