Job summary

ParkLand Ventures, Inc. (MHP Manager LLC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance on rental units and assist in refurbishing make-ready homes in Clinton Township, MI.

You will handle light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks, while maintaining property grounds and supporting after-hours emergency coverage. We offer $20.00 per hour (depending on skill and experience), quarterly bonuses up to $200, 11 paid holidays, PTO after six months, 401k, and company health

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in any trade preferred.
• Ability to work independently or with others.
• Commitment to learn and be honest.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of rental units and assist in refurbishing make-ready homes (painting, cleaning, light carpentry/plumbing/electrical).
• Maintain property grounds.
• Assist in coverage of the after-hours maintenance emergency line.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Do you have some experience with property maintenance, or you're just handy with jobs that require some light carpentry, plumbing or electrical work? We don't need fancy licenses and certifications, just honesty, desire to learn and a commitment to work hard every day. This position is located in Clinton Township, MI.

What You Need:

• Commitment to learn, work hard and be honest.
• Working knowledge of light carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical. 6+ months experience in any trade preferred.
• Ability to work independently or with other Maintenance Technicians on any and all tasks.
• To be a good steward of the company’s equipment, tools, supplies, etc.
• Demonstrate to our residents that we care deeply about presenting the best community possible.
