ParkLand Ventures, Inc. (MHP Manager LLC) is seeking a dependable Maintenance Lead for the Country Estates Manufactured Home Community in South Lyon, Michigan. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintain community operations, including light plumbing, electrical work, and overall property upkeep.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and at least 6 months of experience in general maintenance or a skilled trade. The position offers a starting pay of $20/hour and includes a range of benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in maintenance or a skilled trade preferred.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and driving record check.

• Leading day-to-day maintenance operations throughout the community.
• Completing work orders efficiently, including light plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Preparing rental homes for new residents through painting and general repairs.

You don’t need fancy licenses or certifications, just honesty, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and lead by example. This position is located in Northville, MI.

What You’ll Do

• Leading day‑to‑day maintenance operations throughout the community
• Completing work orders efficiently and professionally, including:
  • Light plumbing
  • Basic electrical
  • HVAC troubleshooting
  • Carpentry repairs
• Preparing rental homes for new residents, including but not limited to:
  • Painting
  • Cleaning
  • General repairs and refurbishing
• Coordinating with outside vendors and ensuring quality work
• Maintaining community amenities and common areas, including grounds and pool areas
• Assisting with after‑hours emergency maintenance coverage as needed
• Promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and resident satisfaction
• Keeping work areas organized, clean, and professional
