Job summary

ParkLand Ventures, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician in Clinton Township, MI to perform routine maintenance on rental units, refurbish make-ready homes, including painting, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical work, and maintain property grounds.

We offer $20.00 per hour, quarterly bonus up to $200, 11 paid holidays, PTO after six months, 401k, health plan options with employer contribution, winter clothing and boot allotment, and tools provided.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in any trade preferred.
• Working knowledge of light carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical.
• Ability to work independently or with other Maintenance Technicians.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance of rental units and assisting in refurbishing make-ready homes (painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
• Maintain property grounds and common areas.
• Assist in coverage of the after-hours maintenance emergency line.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Do you have some experience with property maintenance, or you\'re just handy with jobs that require some light carpentry, plumbing or electrical work? If so, we need your help to deliver a great housing value to the residents and our communities. We don\'t need fancy licenses and certifications, just honesty, desire to learn and a commitment to work hard every day. This position is located in Clinton Township, MI.

What We Need:

• Maintaining property grounds

What You Need:

• Commitment to learn, work hard and be honest.
• Working knowledge of light carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical. 6+ months experience in any trade preferred
• Ability to work independently or with other Maintenance Technicians on any and all tasks
• To be a good steward of the company\'s equipment, tools, supplies, etc.
• Demonstrate to our residents that we care deeply about presenting the best community possible
• To pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving record check
