Covestro's South Deerfield facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for the maintenance and reliability of mechanical systems in the extrusion process. You will support shift mechanics, diagnose and repair equipment, and collaborate across departments on projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or 5+ years in a mechanical role, with a high school diploma and NCCER certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; 2+ years at Covestro South Deerfield or 5+ years industrial/mechanical experience.
• Experience with industrial maintenance preferred; NCCER certifications are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Plan and support mechanical installations and repairs with engineering.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical/process equipment.
• Create and manage Work Orders in SAP MtS; track time to projects.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for all machinery and equipment repairs.
• Support overtime, weekends, shifts, and alternate shifts as needed.
