Job summary

Sierra Pacific Windows is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to maintain and repair mechanical systems in our Wisconsin facility. You will troubleshoot and service machines, install electrical components, and ensure optimum operation of hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor control systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, alignment, balancing, and the use of welding and cutting tools, as well as lifting equipment and rigging as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years' recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education.
• Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs.
• Experience with motor control circuits, 480V 3-phase motors, starters, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of pneumatics, pumps, belts, conveyors, and bearings.
• Proven experience using forklift, man lift, and most rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Run, maintain, and repair mechanical parts and machinery in a manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines and equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems for efficient operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluids.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and lifting devices.
