Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in mechanical or related work, along with familiarity with safety/regulatory standards and the ability to read equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
• Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Able to be available for on-call status periodically (as needed).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a self-motivated, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in David City, NE! This full-time role is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy troubleshooting and ensuring equipment runs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.

Perform preventative maintenance

Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder's torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.

Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
