This person will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment after completing diagnosis and troubleshooting various issues. **What You’ll Learn & Do*** Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of the problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.* Perform preventative maintenance.* Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder’s torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.* Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.* Maintain plant sanitation standards.* Perform other duties as assigned. **What We’re Looking For**We’re looking for individuals who:* 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.* Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.* Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.* Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader.* Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.* Excellent time management and organizational skills. **Minimum Requirements*** At least 18 years old* High School Diploma or equivalent* Valid driver’s license* Ability to safely operate equipment* Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen **Work Environment**This is a hands-on industrial position.
