Ag Processing Inc (AGP) in Emmetsburg, IA is seeking a driven Maintenance Tech to maintain, repair and replace plant equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to safe, efficient operations in a hands-on setting.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical work, knowledge of PSM/NFPA/OSHA/EPA regulations, and ability to read equipment specs; forklift/bobcat/end-loader operation is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical, construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
• Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of the problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder's torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
• Maintain plant sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
