Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) at our Litchfield facility to support plant operations through corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment reliability, and documentation in the CMMS system while coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities include leading maintenance planning, performing fabrication tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid US driver’s license and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Basic computer literacy including data entry and documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn mechanical concepts and perform maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrates problem solving, teamwork and effective communication.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets safety standards and supports risk-reduction initiatives.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Create, modify, and close work orders in CMMS with accurate labor and parts documentation.
• Support capital projects with vendors, contractors, and internal teams; ensure safe execution and clear communication.
• Maintain plant shop, maintenance tools, and general facility upkeep.
• Lead and assist grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
• Use predictive maintenance tools to identify issues and update PM plans; train others.
• Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes and safety.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints; ensure project work aligns with production schedules.
• Manage work plans with Operations to avoid production disruption; maintain the Enterprise Asset Management system.
