NOVO Health Services is an industrial healthcare laundry provider seeking a full-time maintenance associate. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems within a linen processing facility.

Qualifications

• Industrial knowledge in maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret machine and wiring drawings.
• Formal training in skilled trade or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Inspect equipment in assigned areas and assess maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance during production when possible; complete rest during non-production hours.
• Respond to trouble calls and communicate issues to Supervisor.
• Assist with plant start-up or shut-down as needed.
• Instruct lower classifications in repair techniques.

We provide bed linen, surgeon's scrubs, towels, pillowcases, sheets, blankets and surgical linen to our hospital owners, medical clinics and nursing homes.

Job Duties:

• Trouble-shoot and repair a wide variety of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, including changing faulty switches, air solenoid valves, air lines, and major machine components.
• Visit assigned areas of responsibility, inspect equipment and assess maintenance required.
• Review assigned Preventive Maintenance work. Perform those activities, which are possible during production. Complete remaining during non-production hours.
• Respond to trouble calls on assigned equipment. Identify mechanical, electrical, or electronic malfunctions and communicate them to the Supervisor.
• May be responsible for plant start up or shut down.
• Instruct mechanics in lower classifications in appropriate repair techniques
• Other tasks as assigned

Required education:

High school or equivalent and two years formal training in a skilled trade. Experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
