Job summary

NOVO Health Services operates as a hospital linen processing provider in Wisconsin and seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our industrial systems running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components across our processing equipment.

The role covers inspection, preventive maintenance, responding to downtime, and supporting plant start-up/shut-down.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding complicated machine and wiring drawings.
• Two years formal training in a skilled trade; experience may substitute for degree.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.

Responsibilities

• Trouble-shoot and repair a wide variety of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Visit assigned areas; inspect equipment and assess maintenance requirements.
• Review Preventive Maintenance work; perform tasks during production when possible.
• Respond to trouble calls; identify malfunctions and communicate with Supervisor.
• May supervise plant start up or shut down.
• Instruct mechanics in lower classifications in repair techniques.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Perform those activities, which are possible during production. Complete remaining during non-production hours.- Respond to trouble calls on assigned equipment. Identify mechanical, electrical, or electronic malfunctions and communicate them to the Supervisor.- May be responsible for plant start up or shut down.- Instruct mechanics in lower classifications in appropriate repair techniques- Other tasks as assignedRequired education:High school or equivalent and two years formal training in a skilled trade.
