Job summary

ParkLand Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Westland, MI. The role focuses on routine upkeep of rental units, refurbishing make-ready homes, painting, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical work to ensure high housing value.

You will help maintain grounds, assist in after-hours emergency coverage, and keep work areas clean and organized. Applicants should be honest, eager to learn, and able to work independently or with others.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in any trade preferred.
• Ability to work independently or with other Maintenance Technicians on any task.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment checks (drug screen, background, driving record).

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance of rental units and refurbishing make-ready homes, including painting, cleaning, light carpentry/plumbing/electrical work.
• Maintaining property grounds.
• Assist in coverage of the after-hours maintenance emergency line.
• Maintain and keep working areas clean and organized.
