Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready to join our Richmond, VA team. This role offers a stable, full-time schedule with competitive pay, on-call rotation, and strong benefits.

You’ll perform turn/make-ready work on vacant apartments, assist with work orders, and help maintain grounds and amenities while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience is a plus.
• No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train and work toward getting certified.
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team member.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
