Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready to join our team in a stable, long-term role at a well-maintained community. You will perform turn/make ready work on vacant apartments, assist with maintenance work orders, and help keep the property grounds and amenities up to standard.

The position offers full-time hours, on-site work, and benefits including PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, and an on-call rotation with extra pay.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• No HVAC certification required if willing to train and work towards getting certified.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) is a plus.
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.

Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVACcertification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus!
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
