Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in Indian Wells, CA. You’ll perform general maintenance and repairs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct routine preventative maintenance throughout the hotel and guest rooms.

Strong English communication, prior luxury-hotel maintenance experience preferred; willingness to train; ability to lift 50–100 lbs; flexible schedule including weekends.

• Prior maintenance experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred, but we’re willing to train the right hospitality professional.
• Brand experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 lbs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.

Troubleshoot issues and determine necessary repairs.

Perform routine and preventative maintenance.

Respond to work orders and guest room service calls in a timely manner.

Maintain the building exterior and overall property.

Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Prior maintenance experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred, but we’re willing to train the right hospitality professional.

Brand experience preferred.

Familiarity with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.

Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.

Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 lbs.

Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to work independently.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
