Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Technical Associates degree preferred.
• 3 years of applicable experience/demonstrated skill required.
• 2 years as a Production Technician or Auxiliary.
• Must have experience with basic hand tools.
• Must be able to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams, hydraulics knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Work effectively under stressful conditions.
• Work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains automated production machinery to reduce downtime and meet production schedules.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance as required to ensure equipment availability.
• Position reports to a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Reads technical drawings and schematics to guide maintenance work.
• Collaborates with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of machining techniques including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding.
• Knowledge of mold repair, teardown, assembly and cleaning in mold shop.
