Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist in repairs and maintenance of facility machinery and utilities.
• Observe equipment in operation and determine the need for repairs.
• Disassemble equipment to allow for proper repairs.
• Examine and verify new components are acceptable for use.
• Adjust functional parts and control mechanisms to ensure proper equipment function.
• Lubricate and perform preventive maintenance per standards.
• Operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking equipment to make/repair parts.
• Assist in repairs to electrical equipment.
